Prosus Launches ToqanClaw, a No-Code AI Platform for Businesses

European tech investment group Prosus has launched ToqanClaw, a no-code AI platform that enables businesses to build custom tools and automations using natural language prompts. Positioned as a GDPR-compliant European alternative to AI agents like OpenClaw, ToqanClaw ensures data remains under local control and is not used to train third-party models. The platform runs on Prosus' in-house AI infrastructure and is being deployed across a network of over five million restaurants, merchants, and entrepreneurs. Early results from restaurant partners show significant improvements: a Dutch café chain reduced financial reporting from weeks to 30 minutes and achieved 40% year-on-year revenue growth, while another partner increased deliveries by 25% and cut overtime by 60%. Prosus has also trained a Large Commerce Model on data from over a billion customers and hundreds of millions of daily interactions, enabling agents to anticipate business needs. Additionally, Prosus introduced Zapia, a consumer-facing assistant for everyday use. This launch comes amid growing regulatory scrutiny of AI agents in Europe, with German authorities taking action on biometric data practices. While primarily a business tool, ToqanClaw's focus on data privacy and localization addresses key concerns in the European market.
