Nasdaq to Distribute TotalView Market Data via Pyth Network
Nasdaq announced it will distribute its TotalView full depth-of-book equity market data through the Pyth Network, making one of its core data products accessible via blockchain infrastructure. TotalView provides buy and sell orders at every price level for Nasdaq-, NYSE- and regional-listed stocks, along with the Net Order Imbalance Indicator. The data will be available on the Pyth Data Marketplace, enabling developers and institutional users to access it through a programmable interface instead of traditional terminals or dedicated feeds. This move reflects a broader trend of traditional financial institutions adapting market infrastructure for tokenized assets and on-chain financial services. Nasdaq joins other contributors like Tradeweb, SGX and the U.S. Department of Commerce, signaling growing institutional adoption of blockchain for data distribution.
