Galaxy and Sharplink Launch Onchain Yield Fund with $125M
Galaxy Digital and Sharplink announced a partnership to launch the Galaxy Sharplink Onchain Yield Fund, which will receive $100 million from Sharplink’s staked ETH treasury and $25 million from Galaxy. The fund, managed by Galaxy, will deploy capital across DeFi liquidity protocols and other onchain yield strategies. The structure aims to preserve Sharplink’s core ETH exposure while adding an active yield strategy. Sharplink holds 872,984 ETH and has generated 18,800 ETH in staking rewards since June 2025. The $100 million allocation represents about 43,000 ETH at current prices. This marks a shift in treasury management for Sharplink, integrating DeFi yields into its balance sheet. The investment is expected to commence in the coming weeks under a non-binding MOU.
